Crestron Hangs Biggest iPhone Ever to Announce App
It's not just a cut-out, either -- it's got real depth.
Crestron's new iPhone application, a free download from the App Store, supports SystemBuilder, VT Pro-e and SIMPL and is treated like any other touchpanel in the system.
According to the company, setup requires:
- Naming the home or office as a location
- Entering the IP address of the 2-Series controller
- Establishing a password for security

Wow, this looks slick.
I suppose you could choose one over a 4X.
You dont even need an iPhone! The iPod Touch is fully supported.
I read on Crestron web site its fully integrated with the development tools just as any other panel.
And all that for FREE!
Im giddy.

I’m not an iPhone user but this intrigues me. From the sound of it, I could buy an iTouch for a secondary control instead of something like the 4x or 6x.
