Control4 Unveils 7-Inch Touch Screen
Touchscreen includes four programmable buttons and screensaver that turns system into picture frame.
Control4 is releasing its 7-inch POE Wall Mount Touch Screen.
The touchpanel controls whole-home automation, including home theaters, multiroom audio, temperatures, security and lighting.
It has a 16x9 format and three times more display area than Control4's Mini Touch Screen. The touchscreen has four programmable keys and runs on Control4's latest 1.6.0 software.
It's can also run the screensaver function that turns the touchpanel into a picture frame.
Control4 Composer Edition software can be used to add or remove pictures and configure display options once the screensaver is enabled on the system.
"By rounding out our wall mount touchscreen options with a 7-inch screen, we provide increased flexibility on price, size and functionality for additional rooms in the home," says Control4 CEO Will West.
The Control4 7-inch POE is expected to ship in July for $1,195.
A Wi-Fi version will be available later this year for the same price.
