Clare Controls InfoStream Lets CE Pros Send Personalized Content to Clients
New ClareHome system Infostream link in app allows integrators to send individualized content to a client, including marketing information or specifics on their project.
Clare Controls’ ClareHome home automation system will soon give authorized dealers the ability to deliver personalized online content directly to their customers, via the Clare Controls App iPad/iPhone user interface.
Infostream is accessed by tapping an icon in the Clare Controls App. An indicator within the icon alerts users when new content has been added. ClareHome’s Spring Release will give Clare Partners the option to redirect the Infostream link to any RSS feed they choose, on a project-by-project basis. This would allow them to give their customers access to their own blogs or social media feeds, for instance, to deliver key product and/or marketing messages.
More important, perhaps, is the value-add it presents Clare Controls Builder’s Program participants. In the Program, Clare Partners collaborate with builders of mainstream houses to include Clare systems in every new home they build. Clare Partners can direct the Infostream link to their builders’ feeds, allowing them to stay in touch with their customers with built-in access to their communities’ activities and events calendars, bulletin boards, customer service departments, etc.
“Integrators are, by nature, a creative and forward-thinking group,” notes Brett Price, CEO of Clare Controls. “The uses that we’ve envisioned for the Infostream— to inform, to motivate, to stimulate confidence or simply to stay in touch – will likely just be starting places for many. We’re eager to see how the most business-savvy of our Partners will apply this unique tool.”
To support this new capability, Clare Controls is launching a series of social marketing webinars to help its partners leverage the new Infostream feature. These webinars will help dealers connect with their customers, suppliers and professional contacts. In parallel marketing support efforts, Clare Controls also offers its partners co-branded collaterals and a digital press kit, available through the secured dealer portal, with logos and images for use in print and online materials.
