Channel Vision Names Kauai Vacation Giveaway Winner

Channel Vision announced the winner of its Kauai Beach Vacation Giveaway. The contest served to promote the Channel Vision name along with encouraging the use of its products in professional installations utilized inside the Well-Connected Home.

Submissions were judged upon three criteria, including:

• Uniqueness of the installation using Channel Vision technology products
• Neatness and thoroughness of the installation
• Having a completed installation

The winning installation was selected from dozens of submissions entered by Channel Vision enthusiasts, who shared their work for an opportunity to win a seven-night vacation in a luxury ocean front estate located on the island of Kauai. Included in this grand prize package was round-trip airfare for two.

The grand prize winner selected was Brian Flint from Audio Video Specialists Inc. in Duarte, Calif. Flint’s winning installation was for a high-end residential remodel in Monrovia, Calif. The installation provided his customer with whole-house audio, integration of IR control, distributing phones, video, and data as well as providing intercom communication throughout, including at the front door with gate access control.

According to Flint, the technology that gave this installation the “cool” factor was “…being able to provide audio throughout, and controlling it from each room through the Channel Vision IR systems.”

“While it was a tough decision to select the winning submission, Brian’s installation clearly met all the criteria and demonstrated good use of Channel Vision’s products with a complete system for their customer,” said Channel Vision’s president & CEO Darrel Hauk.
