CEDIA Expo Will Move to Atlanta, Then Dallas
After its upcoming third Expo in Denver, CEDIA announces three years in Atlanta followed by three in Dallas.
Integrators traveling to Denver for the 2008 CEDIA Expo, September 4–7, ought not to get too accustomed to the thin mountain air.
The show is moving to Atlanta for 2009–2011. Then it will move to Dallas for 2012–2014.
Don Gilpin, CEDIA executive director, revealed the new host cities during a wide-ranging interview that will be featured in the September 2008 issue of CE Pro.
As for the 2009 Electronic Lifestyles Forum, Gilpin says CEDIA is "in the process of firming up the details" including the date and venue. However, he says CEDIA plans to keep the same format with some minor changes.
"This year's event was a sold-out event and now that the event has gained momentum, we are ready to take it up a few notches."
