CE Pro 100 Brand Analysis: Top Design/Proposal Software
D-Tools leads the way in the most used design/proposal software brands in the 2014 CE Pro 100 Brand Analysis.
In this comprehensive CE Pro 100 brand analysis series, CE Pro senior editor Bob Archer delivers an in-depth look at the most frequently used manufacturers in nearly 40 product categories. The numbers associated with each manufacturer reflect the number of CE Pro 100 dealers using that brand.
The brands that are used by the CE Pro 100 are closely watched because these are the most successful companies in the industry. Many integrators look to the brands that are being used by these companies as a signal of success. This brand usage differs from rank and file integrator usage because it does not include brands that are sold through distribution typically, but focuses on direct-to-dealer brands.
D-Tools has been the benchmark in the software category for a number of years and the company’s popularity continues in 2014. In addition to past years CE Pro 100 dealers also slightly favor mass-market solutions such as Visio and QuickBooks over solutions such as BidMagic, Horizon and Simply Reliable that are said to target installers’ needs.
