Speakers have ADT-25 aluminum-manganese dome tweeter and are now available.
07.01.2008 — Canton is expanding its Chrono loudspeaker line with the three-way Chrono 511 DC tower and the compact Chrono 501 on-wall speaker.
Both speakers have an ADT-25 aluminum-manganese dome tweeter, which helps frequency performance and heat dissipation.
The Chrono 511 is a three-way bass reflex floorstanding speaker that employs two 9-inch aluminum cone woofers and a 7-inch aluminum midrange.
The Chrono 511 is just under four feet tall with DC technology and a bass response that extends to 20Hz.
The 511 DC comes in a black wood-grained finish with a gloss black front baffle and aluminum accents.
The Chrono 501 is a 2-way sealed enclosure speaker designed for on-wall mounting. It has a 6-inch aluminum bass driver and is capable of midrange and bass response that extend as low as 40 Hz.
The 501 comes in either a black or all-silver finish. The Chrono 511 DC and 501 feature gold-plated speaker terminals.
The Canton Chrono 511 DC and Chrono 501 are currently available for $1,400 and $425, respectively.
