Buddy Guy Rocks Savant Party
Guy, who is known for his showmanship, didn't disappoint last night.
Buddy Guy rocked the house last night at the Savant party at CEDIA Expo 2008.
09.06.2008 — Legendary blues guitarist George "Buddy" Guy rocked the house during the Savant party last night at CEDIA Expo 2008.
Savant held its annual exclusive party of about 100 key dealers at Alto, a club in downtown Denver.
At the previous two CEDIA Expos, the company has hosted The Black Crowes and Jonny Lang.
Guy is a five-time Grammy Award-winning American blues and rock guitarist and singer. Guy, known as an inspiration to Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and other guitarists, is considered an important exponent of Chicago blues.
Guy is known for his showmanship and he didn't disappoint last night, pulling out some of his trademark moves, including playing his guitar with drumsticks, and strolling into the audience (and out on the sidewalk on 15 Street) while jamming.
