AVAD to Offer ZeeVee HD Video Distribution Products
Custom electronics distributor announces distribution partnership with residential and commercial HD video distribution manufacturer.
AVAD will distribute ZeeVee products, including the new ZvBox 170.
Distributor AVAD LLC announced it will carry a full line of residential and commercial HD video distribution products from ZeeVee.
AVAD dealers will now have access to ZeeVee’s product line which utilize HD encoding and RF modulation to distribute HD video over coax cabling to unlimited displays. Among the products initially offered through AVAD is the new ZvBox 170, a low-cost, simple-to-deploy system for distributing HD video and digital signage.
“AVAD is proud to offer custom integrators yet another high-quality vendor through our partnership with ZeeVee,” said Jim Annes, vice president and general manager for AVAD. “ZeeVee products will enable integrators to simultaneously deliver HD video to unlimited displays in residential or commercial settings using coax cables. In most cases, this eliminates the need to re-wire a project and opens the door for future retro-fit opportunities.”
ZeeVee products, such as the ZvBox 150 and ZvPro 250 have been extremely successful in the residential and commercial AV industries, according to AVAD. Recently, the company announced its latest innovation, the ZvBox 170. The ZvBox 170 is a rack-mounted, fan-cooled HD encoder/RF modulator that distributes VGA and component video sources as an HDTV cable channel over coax to standard HDTVs. Perfect for distributing digital signage throughout a bar, restaurant or exhibit, or providing access to HD DVRs and Blu-ray players throughout a home, a connected ZvBox 170 can distribute HD video to an unlimited number of displays, significantly reducing the cost on a project.
Through the partnership, ZeeVee will now be available to AVAD’s network of certified dealers and installers, significantly expanding ZeeVee’s reach within the residential and commercial custom installation market. Together, AVAD and ZeeVee will support integrators on commercial and residential applications for HD distribution with in-depth product training and design assistance.
