AudioControl Adds Alex Camara as CEO
Seattle-based manufacturer AudioControl has appointed Alex Camera as its new chief executive officer.
AudioControl, a Seattle-based A/V manufacturer that boasts 900 North American dealers, has named Alex Camara as its chief executive officer.
Camara joins AudioControl after serving most recently as president of Camian, a consulting firm that works with other companies on accelerating high-growth strategies. He has also been president of NCR Enterainment and president and GM of Coinstar, whose services include the DVD vendor Redbox.
"Since AudioControl's launch in 1977, we have been steadfast in our vision to deliver best-of-class audio/video solutions that enhance our customers' lives and to 'make good sound better,'" says AudioControl chairman Tom Walker. "Under Alex's leadership, AudioControl will even more push the envelope in innovation and accelerate growth for the company in our home and car audio/video market as well as in new opportunities."
Walker will move into the positions of chairman of the board and chief strategy officer, effective immediately, according to the company.
"AudioControl's business potential is expanding strongly based on the solid foundation in place," says Camara. "I am looking forward to working closely with our dealers and partners to create and deliver great products and services, as well as provide excellent value to our customers."
AudioControl distributes its products in more than 30 countries.
