Audio Advisors Celebrates 25 Years as Florida’s Top Electronic Systems Contractor

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- October 17, 2007 -- In 1982, Jeff Hoover started a business out of a love for loud cars. He opened the doors to Audio Advisors with a handful of car audio system installers and a handful of customers. As the business grew, they morphed into a dealer of high-end home audio systems. Now 25 years later, Audio Advisors is Florida's most recognized electronic systems contractor; and yes, they still do car audio.

Hoover leads a team of 62 experts who design, install, and integrate high-end electronic systems in homes, specializing in audio, video, lighting, climate, security, computer networking, and communications. He developed a division of the business called GuiFX, Graphic User Interface Effects, devoted to the design of high definition graphics used in touch screen controls. GuiFX has formed partnerships with a handful of high-profile electronics manufacturers, the newest of which, Remote Technologies Inc., was announced on October 15, 2007.

"I never imagined how far we would come in this business," says Hoover, president of Audio Advisors. He jokes that the staff's good looks is what brings clients back, but then admits more seriously, "the x-factor for our business is the talent of our team. These aren't just sales guys. Our people are experts who always go above and beyond for the customer."

Their award winning work repeatedly lands them in the news. Top industry trade publications, local print and television news, and a national newspaper have interviewed Hoover for the story of his success, and the latest on what high-end electronics installers can offer their clients.

Looking forward, Hoover and his team see amazing sound systems as the next big thing, as customers begin to look for equipment that will do justice to their hundreds of thousands of MP3s. In the works: a $35,000 speaker system from Snell Acoustics that will surely find a home in a number of Palm Beach homes.
