ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre Ships With Media Centers
TotalMedia Theatre is DTS-HD and BD-Live certified and supports all 3 Blu-ray formats.
06.09.2008 — ArcSoft's TotalMedia Theatre is now being packaged with media centers from various HTPC manufacturers.
Companies that will bundle the ArcSoft software include: Aspen Media, Celestica, Fluid Digital Media, Inteset, Maingear, NiveusMedia and Vidabox.
The ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre recently received DTS-HD and BD-Live certification.
The video playback software supports all three Blu-ray formats (MPEG-2, AVC and VC1) and other content such as WMV HD, QuickTime HD, DivX HD, and H.264 HD.
"ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre is seamlessly integrated with Media Center," says George Tang, ArcSoft VP and GM of Video Entertainment.
"The application operates separately or directly within Media Center, creating a flawless movie experience.
"Users are able to easily enjoy Blu-ray movies directly on their high-definition screens using a familiar remote control."
No pricing information was released on packages. MSRP for the ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre is $89.99.
